Background
Two perspectives. One approach.
Anna's coaching is informed by two perspectives that rarely exist together.
She knows the pathway because she lived it. She understands what it takes to progress through different stages of cycling, how the demands change as athletes develop, and how quickly performance can become complicated.
She understands the science because she studied it. Exercise & Sport Science, Nutrition and ongoing research have given her the tools to understand the mechanisms behind performance and long-term development.
That journey showed her the calibre of coaching she wished more cyclists had access to throughout their own development. So she created the Winning Edge Method — bringing together her experience as an athlete, research and evidence, and her coaching expertise into a structured approach to understanding and developing the whole athlete.

Experience
From her first race in E-grade to the elite peloton, Anna progressed through the full AusCycling pathway, the same system now guiding athletes toward Brisbane 2032. Her first-hand understanding of how that pathway works, its strengths and its structural gaps, sits at the core of how she coaches today.
UCI World Championship Bronze Medals
National Titles
Youngest Professional in the Women's National Road Series Peloton
Racing taught Anna what performance demands.
Science taught her why it works.
Coaching is where the two come together.
Expertise
The Winning Edge Method is grounded in sport and exercise science, coaching practice, ongoing research and the realities of high-performance cycling.
Its foundations are built on Long-Term Athletic Development, the Biopsychosocial Model and The Transtheoretical Model of Behaviour Change, providing a structured way to understand how and when physical, psychological, social and environmental factors interact throughout an athlete's development.
But evidence alone doesn't tell you what this cyclist needs.
That is where coaching matters.
The Winning Edge Method turns evidence and experience into individual decisions — identifying what matters most now, applying it in the right way, and continuing to evolve as the cyclist does.
